5 Roles of a Master Herder™by Linda Kohanov

What if your managers had more than one way of moving their teams forward?

Inspiring, setting boundaries, supporting, observing, deciding: leadership requires the ability to change approach depending on the people, the stakes and the situation.

5 Roles of a Master Herder™ offers your managers a powerful experience to become aware of their impact, broaden their leadership range and draw on the right approach at the right moment.

When leadership leaves the meeting room

Before the workshop, each participant completes a professional questionnaire highlighting the roles they naturally draw on — and those they find harder to access.

Then comes the encounter with the horses. Intentions meet their effects. Participants try out different ways of guiding, setting boundaries, supporting or deciding, and observe how each adjustment transforms the relationship and the movement.

Leadership is no longer just something you think about. It becomes visible, concrete and alive.

What the experience sets in motion

  1. Seeing your impact differently

Identify the strengths you rely on and the automatic responses that can limit their effect.

  2. Broadening your range

Explore other ways of inspiring, supporting, setting boundaries, observing or deciding.

  3. Choosing the right response

Choose how to intervene according to the situation rather than repeating your usual reflex.

Who it’s for

For managers, team leaders, project leaders and executives facing situations that call for more than one way of leading: mobilising a team, supporting change, setting a boundary or making a difficult decision.

  • Develop leadership and management style
  • Get to know each other and understand others

Good to know

  • An individual professional questionnaire is completed before the workshop.
  • No equestrian knowledge is required. The experience takes place entirely on foot.
  • The workshop is led by a facilitator accredited by Linda Kohanov and begins with a safety briefing.
  • Availability is confirmed after your request.

What if your managers expanded the way they lead their teams forward?

Give them an experience that challenges habits, reveals their impact and opens up new possibilities for action.
